Dr. Kane was an invited speaker at the Biopharmaceutical Research and Development Symposium, sponsored by the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. His presentation was titled 'Drug-Eluting Transplants: Live Tissue as a Functional Biomaterial'.
